PhotoniCare has been awarded a pilot grant from the National Capital Consortium for Pediatric Device Innovation (NCC-PDI), an FDA-funded partnership between the Sheikh Zayed Institute at Children’s National Health System and the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland!

This competition pitted 31 pediatric innovations against one another in an effort to compete for non-dilutive funding and free access to key resources in medical device consulting. There were a lot of stellar innovations from a lot of really great companies.

We’re thrilled to have been selected to receive this award and are really excited to get started on this project! The funds will be used to conduct a pilot clinical study at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, which, together with the free consulting, will greatly help advance our progress!
